Love goes all the way through your life. Some find it early, and some, just don't find it at all. But in my case...........

"Sarin! Hey, wait up!" Kelly called from behind me. I did not feel like hearing all the latest "gossip" anymore.

"Kelly, not right now. I'm sort of....busy." I had to lie if I wanted to escape.

"Busy doing what--walking?" she muttered in a sour tone.

"I don't feel like talking right now okay? I've got to get to class."

"Fine...then I guess you don't want to hear about the new boy in school. He's in our year." Kelly sounded to excited about him, but since I had nothing better to do, I decided to just listen--yet ignore-- to her story.

"Okay, tell me." I said annoyed.

"Well, he came here from St. Joseph High. You know, like you did last year."

"Are you saying that I should know him?"

"You might, unless you didn't know that many people." Kelly said, making me irritated.

"Okay, listen. Unless there is something that I should know, that I don't know, let me get to class."

"Fine, fine, fine. His name is Alexander Tolly. And he has the most beautiful eyes ever."

Oh my gosh! Alex is here. I mean, we were like best friends at St. Joseph, but we still kept in touch even when I left. I can't believe he never told me. I'm am definately going to kick his butt once I find him, for even thinking of keeping a surprise like this from me. Before my mouth could even drop open, I pressed my lips together.

Kelly gave me a wierd look, like I said something wierd. My face must have fallen before I could even grasp it. "What," I said before she could talk, "did I say something?"

"You know him don't you?" She said while giggling.

"Yeah. We're like best buds." My voice sounded so dull compared to hers.

"And you knew he was coming? Why didn't you tell me that you had a super, hot guy as your best friend?" She said accusingly.

"Actually, I didn't know he was coming. I'm just as surprised as you are."

"Liar, you guys aren't friends, your just saying that so that you can get him before me!" Kelly seemed a little crazy for just bursting that out. But before I could explain, she was already stomping down the hall.

"Oh, my." I said under my breath. I stood for a moment thinking whether I felt like walking more to get a drink of water from the water fountain. I was thirsty enough. Once I turned around, I saw Alex. A sudden smile came out of nowhere, and I just jumped for a hug. "Hey Alex! It's been so long. How are you?"

"I'm fine now that I found you." He said with a grin.

"Thanks," I sighed,"what class are you headed to?"

"Advanced chem. You?"

"Me, too. Uum, did you wanto to walk there together and talk? You know, catch up."

"Hmmm..........."

"Oh, shut up and come on!" I said while tugging at his arm.
